La Cañada Cross Country is the host of this Thursday's meet held at CV Park. All interested parents who'd like to pitch in to assist the coaching staff with the running of the meet should contact either myself or Coach Thatcher. We would really appreciate it!
Here are some of the jobs: (The number of people needed are in parentheses after each bullet.)
- (6)--Finish Crew--1. to assist keeping runners in line as they cross the line. 2. to make sure the weary runners stay in the order they finish. 3. to remind runners to take their tags off as they enter the chute. 4. to make sure runners find their way to the scoring poster/tables
- (4)--Directing Traffic--there are points on the course that will require directions for runners...you will be required to stay in that area.
- (2)--Keeping/Alerting People to stay off the course while runners are racing.
- (3)--POSTER CREW: sticking finish stickers on the posters.
